My lessons are structured but flexible, depending on where each student is in their application journey. In the first session, I focus on understanding the student, including their academic interests, experiences, and goals, so we can build a clear and authentic direction for their application. From there, sessions are usually a mix of discussion, guided writing, and real time feedback. When working on personal statements or essays, I help students break down their ideas, structure them effectively, and refine their writing so it feels both compelling and natural. I also share practical frameworks and examples so they understand not just what to write, but why it works.
Beyond writing, I support students with broader admissions strategy, including choosing universities and courses, strengthening their overall profile, and preparing for interviews where relevant. My approach is interactive, and I encourage students to think critically, articulate their ideas clearly, and build confidence in presenting themselves. Having studied at Imperial College London and worked in competitive academic and professional environments, I understand what top universities are looking for, and I aim to translate that into clear, actionable guidance for each student.
