I usually prefer power-point presentations as they are short and easy to understand. I explain all my points verbally and provide notes that are easy to understand. The content usually depends on the student I am teaching to. Usually, their school must have a prescribed syllabus already and I use those books to explain my point and ensure that the student knows how to present the answer correctly. I do not force the kids to simply mug-up an answer. I would like to make them understand the reasoning behind all the questions and why are giving the answers that we are giving. I am a very patient person and will not give up on my students at any point. I will make sure they are comfortable and accommodate their needs. I will listen to them and ensure that my teaching style is helpful, if not, I will modify it. i am always up for some criticism to make my working style better.
