My Approach
I want to focuses on building a strong foundation and ensuring you genuinely grasp the material. This starts with understanding your starting point, to help me identify your current maths level pinpoint the topics you find most challenging, and clarify your specific goals.
Based on this, we will focus of areas where you're struggling or want to revisit. We can also look ahead at upcoming topics to ensure you're well-prepared when they're covered in school. My priority is to ensure you understand the underlying principles of maths, not just memorise formulas. We'll work through multiple problems step-by-step, to reinforce this so you can apply them confidently in various scenarios.
If you're preparing for specific exams, we'll dedicate time to effective exam techniques, time management, and understanding how to maximise your marks.

My Experience & Qualifications
I bring both practical experience and a strong academic background to my tutoring. I have previously tutored students at GCSE level through school volunteering programs, which taught me that everyone learns at their own pace and in different ways. I am deeply committed to providing the patience and encouragement you need to succeed.
Academically, I studied Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry at A-Level and am currently pursuing an Engineering degree at university. This academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their real-world applications, which I'm eager to share with you.
