My lessons are structured, interactive, and focused on helping students truly understand how to approach questions—not just get the right answers. I strongly believe that practice is the key to progress, so my sessions are very question-based. Students regularly work through carefully selected questions, and we then check their working together step by step to identify strengths, gaps, and patterns in their thinking.
All lessons are delivered online via Google Meet. I use screen sharing to explain methods clearly, model my own working, and break down challenging problems in a simple, logical way. This allows students to see exactly how to structure their answers and apply techniques confidently, especially for exams like the 11+ and GCSES. I encourage students to explain their thinking as well, which helps build clarity, confidence, and strong communication skills.
The dynamic of my lessons is supportive but focused. I’m energetic and engaging, which helps keep students motivated and involved, even during more challenging topics. At the same time, I maintain high expectations and push students to think independently and improve their accuracy and exam technique.
I have six months of experience tutoring a student for the 11+ exam, during which I helped them develop stronger problem-solving skills, better time management, and greater confidence. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs focusing on understanding topics and stay with their pace, ensuring lessons are productive, encouraging, and results-driven.
