I have a Bachelors in Comparative Literature at UCL and I am currently doing my masters in Social Anthropology at the university of Oxford. I have a long history of working experience with children of many different ages. I have worked with young children (5-8) in a drama school and I have taught English with the British Council in Berlin, Germany as part of my undergraduate year abroad. I have also worked in a children's publishing company, as well as done volunteering with humanitarian organisations with children in China. I currently teach English and French online to students in China.
The format of my lessons will vary according to the student's specific needs and priorities, however they usually cover the standard areas of grammar, vocabulary-building, listening, reading, speaking and writing. I will usually give a small homework task at the end of class which will be corrected at the start of the next class. I am very flexible and open to hearing about student ideas or their particular interests so I can incorporate them into the content of the class.
