My lessons are designed to be relaxed, engaging, and tailored to each individual student. Having studied both sociology and criminology, I understand how challenging some topics can feel at GCSE and A-level, so I focus on breaking everything down into clear, simple explanations. I use real-life examples to make topics more relatable and easier to remember, helping students build a deeper understanding rather than just memorising content.
All lessons are delivered online in a structured but flexible way. We can focus on areas the student finds most difficult, go over class content, or work through exam-style questions together. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students learn how to structure their answers, apply key terminology effectively, and meet mark scheme criteria to achieve higher grades.
I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions without judgement. My approach is supportive and patient, and I adapt each lesson to suit the student’s learning style and pace. Whether a student needs help building confidence, improving their understanding, or pushing for top grades, I will tailor sessions to help them get there.
Ultimately, my goal is to make sociology feel more accessible and less overwhelming, while helping students feel confident and capable in their exams.
