I have 4 years of 1:1 experience tutoring a wide range of children and teenagers, with different learning abilities and a broad variety of teaching styles depending on the learning ability of the student.

I like to base the content of my learning and the way I teach based off the child's attitude towards learning and their goals for themselves. I believe it's not only important for the child to understand and take in what I'm teaching them, but for them to also enjoy the subject and what they are learning, which is why I like to discuss the child's goals for their learning with them as well as their parent.

I've taught English, Psychology, and very basic Maths to a range of age groups and used a variety of teaching styles from a more hands-on perspective for children who struggle with attention or using simple teaching techniques such as repetitive questioning and using mini tests to assess general understanding of the content, however, it's always based on what the student responds best to.
