As I progress through my teenage years I’ve found a real love for helping people learn , whether it was helping my friends last year with their GCSE maths or going into primary schools to help children read (which I’ve been doing since September). I’m very flexible to what is required of me to teach it can be anything from SATS preparation to GCSE Maths. I understand how challenging GCSEs can be but from my experience of getting five nines ( in maths , English literature , English Language , biology and geography) and four eights I have a solid understanding of how to be reaching top marks. As I only did my GCSEs last summer I will be able to understand what are the difficult areas for students and why as I was in that position not too long ago. Depending on the level I teach I would really focus on perfecting exam technique and getting the student super comfortable with exam questions , but I would also work on a solid foundation of mathematical knowledge to be able to consistently bring the right set of skills to each exam question.
