As a student myself, I understand the challenges that pupils can face during exams and I have the experience to teach the tricks that exam boards look out for in GCSE and A-Level tests. I am tutoring Computer Science and Maths with the aim to help students widen their understanding of the subject and teach them exam strategies so that they feel prepared when entering the exam hall.
I have achieved seven Grade 9s at GCSE (including Maths and Computer Science), A*A*A*A at A-Level (with A*s in Maths and Computer Science) and I have previous experience in tutoring GCSE students. Additionally, I am a winner of the PA Raspberry Pi Consulting Competition and received uni offers from UCL and Oxford.
Generally, I teach 50-min lessons which are highly focused on interactive learning and exam practice to engage the student's critical thinking by guiding them to the correct solution while developing the problem-solving needed in STEM. I have learnt several coding languages including: python, Assembly Language, html, SQL, CSS and JavaScript to an A-Level standard. Having recently gone through the GCSE and A-Level process, I am well aware of what a student must do to achieve top grades and I aim to fill any gaps in the students learning to ensure they achieve their desire grade. Exam boards often look out for certain tricks or certain wordings which can be tricky for students to spot, however with 4 years of experience in these exams I can simply explain these small tricks that make a large difference to boost the students grade.
