I begin by understanding the student’s current level, strengths, and areas they find challenging, which allows me to plan lessons that are both focused and effective. Each session is designed to build understanding step by step, ensuring that students develop a strong foundation before moving on to more advanced topics.

A typical lesson starts with a clear explanation of key concepts, where I break down ideas into simple, manageable steps. I then work through examples with the student, demonstrating how to apply these concepts in practice. Following this, students are given the opportunity to attempt questions themselves, with guidance and feedback provided throughout. This approach helps reinforce understanding and builds confidence in problem solving.

I also incorporate exam style questions where appropriate, particularly for GCSE and A level students, to help them become familiar with question formats and develop effective exam techniques. Where possible, I connect topics to real world applications, especially in areas such as economics and finance, to make lessons more engaging and relevant.

With my strong academic background in mathematics and econometrics, including top performance in advanced modules, I bring both subject expertise and a clear, logical teaching style.
