Sohyun Park

Hi, I'm Sohyun and I'm a native Korean speaker from South Korea. I have many years of teaching experience, mainly as an art teacher. I have taught children and adults, including students with different learning needs. I also ran my own drawing studio for four years.

Although I am new to teaching Korean as a language, I have a lot of experience working with students and explaining new things step by step. I know that everyone learns differently, so I like to change my lessons depending on the student's level, interests and goals.

My Korean lessons are friendly and practical. If you are a complete beginner, we can start with Hangul, pronunciation and simple expressions. If you already know some Korean, we can practise everyday conversation, listening, reading and writing. I can also help you understand natural expressions that Korean people actually use.

I want students to feel comfortable speaking Korean, even if they make mistakes. We can learn at your own pace and focus on the areas you want to improve.

If you are learning Korean because you enjoy Korean culture, are planning a trip to Korea, or simply want to speak more naturally, I would be happy to help you.

We can also talk about topics you are interested in, such as Korean food, travel, daily life or culture. My goal is to make each lesson enjoyable and useful, so you can slowly build your confidence and enjoy using Korean more.
