My lessons are structured but relaxed, designed to support both skill development and creative thinking. Sessions usually begin with a short discussion to clarify goals, coursework requirements, or current challenges. From there, we move into practical work, which may include drawing, photography, idea development, or portfolio refinement, depending on the student’s level and focus.
I guide students through techniques step by step where needed, while also encouraging independent thinking and experimentation. Throughout the lesson, I give clear, constructive feedback and help students understand how their work meets assessment criteria.
I have a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art and professional experience across photography, video, and experimental practice. This allows me to support GCSE, college, undergraduate, and adult learners with both technical skills and conceptual development, adapting each lesson to the individual’s needs, pace, and confidence level.
