My Mandarin lessons are flexible, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your speaking, writing, or listening skills, I adapt each session based on your learning goals and pace.

In a typical lesson, we’ll start with a quick warm-up or revision, followed by structured practice that could include vocabulary, sentence-building, grammar, or speaking exercises. I use real-life examples, cultural topics, and everyday scenarios to make the language feel relevant and engaging. For younger students or exam prep (like GCSE/IGCSE), I also provide writing practice, listening tasks, and speaking drills to build exam confidence.

Lessons are available online via Zoom. I provide all learning materials, and I’m happy to adjust lesson content based on your interests — whether that’s Chinese pop culture, travel language, or formal writing.

As a native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker with tutoring experience and a background in law, I bring strong communication skills and a structured, encouraging approach. My students often describe my lessons as fun, relaxed, and effective — with plenty of room to ask questions and learn at your own pace.
