Sofia André Pereira

Hi! I'm Sofia, a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil, currently based in Europe after finishing my Master in Management at IESE Business School. I've always loved languages and connecting with people from different backgrounds, which is actually how I started teaching in the first place. I began informally, helping friends from other countries pick up Portuguese just by answering their questions as they came up. A few of them can now follow full conversations, which makes me extremely proud!

I will build lessons around what you're actually interested in, not a fixed textbook. So whether you want to talk about travel, work, studies, music, movies, or everyday life, we'll use that as the starting point to practice real conversation, useful vocabulary, and pronunciation, along with a bit of Brazilian culture along the way.
I teach online, with flexible scheduling, and I adapt the pace and content to your level.

Outside of teaching, I am someone who loves to travel and get to know new people and culture! I'm also currently learning Italian myself, so I know firsthand what it's like to learn a new language :)
