Hey, I’m a first-year Architecture student studying in England. I just recently finished the IB last year with a total score of 38, with maths being one of my best subjects. I’ve been tutoring maths to students for a while now and enjoy helping people actually understand the subject instead of just memorising formulas.
My lessons are straight to the point. I start by figuring out what topics people need help with or find difficult, then break them down in a clear way that makes sense. In my lessons we would go through a few examples together so you can see how to approach each type of question, and then you’ll try similar ones on your own while I guide you through them incase you need any help. I focus on explaining the logic behind each step so that you actually know why something works, not just how.
Every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach depending on what works best for you. Some lessons are based on past papers and exam questions, while others focus more on understanding the basics before moving forward. Either way, the lessons are focused on progress. No pressure, just learning at your own pace.
Maths can be annoying at times, but once you understand it, it’s not that bad. My goal is to make that happen. I want to be able to help you build confidence and make sense of the subject. If you want lessons that are easygoing, clear, and actually useful, let me know.
