My teaching is adapted according to the needs of the individual.
I have various approaches - discussion, visual, textbook, written practise & games - but what I find is that an approach that suits one student may not suit the next. So, part of my job is, together with the student, to find which way works best for them.
Learning is all about seeing, listening, practising, making mistakes and learning from them and of course, time. I try to offer all of these but in a way that is fun, interesting, challenging. To learn & progress, we need to challenge ourselves and step outside our comfort zone - and make the uncomfortable comfortable. This allows us to gain confidence in ourselves and this in turn helps the learning process.
