My lessons are friendly, structured, and fully tailored to each child’s individual needs. I begin by understanding your child’s current level, school expectations, and any areas they find challenging—whether that's reading, writing, maths, science, or simply staying focused and organised.
Each session includes a mix of support with homework, building core academic skills, and boosting study confidence. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and positive reinforcement to keep lessons engaging and low-pressure. I also integrate fun, interactive learning techniques when suitable—especially for younger children—to maintain interest and focus.
I am trained in Psychology (BA and MSc in Health Psychology) and have experience working with children in healthcare and community settings, including NHS neurorehabilitation and family engagement roles. This allows me to understand a child’s emotional needs as well as their academic ones, creating a supportive, patient, and calm learning environment.
For online lessons, I use screen-sharing tools, visual aids, and digital whiteboards to keep sessions interactive. I also provide light structure and routines if needed, which can help children stay on track with homework and time management.
Whether your child needs help catching up, staying motivated, or just an extra pair of hands to guide them through their schoolwork, I’m here to help them succeed and feel more confident in their learning.
