I tend to use Powerpoint with embedded links if needed to impart knowledge and model practice. I favour using Practice Questions as a vehicle to learn and then the learner attempting questions to reflect and refine their own performance. I also make the learner think about what the Mark Scheme requires and encourage learners to tailor their approach to enhance their chance of exam success.

I am effective at communicationg ideas and concepts using language that is accessible for a young person to relate to. I believe in using practical examples to allow the learner to contextualise and apply their understanding to a practical situation. I can only give you so much...the hard work is down to you and desire to suceeed. I expect you to work hard and complete questions in between our classes that we can review together.

I am approachable, compassionate and thrive on the fact that I can make a difference in the work that I do and am driven by giving people the skills to help achieve the next step of their career goals and aspirations. I am not a clock watcher and will do what I can to help you. I will break things down into smaller, understandable chunks and share my experiences from industry where relavant to enhance your understanding. I will use everyday language to define concepts and ideas whilst helping you to build your business vocabulary. I have worked as an Exam Marker and draw upon this experience. I have taught for the last 23 years and am widely experienced.
