I have over 18 years of experience teaching people of all ages, levels and abilities to achieve their English language goals. I'm TEFL certified, I studied literature for my BA (Hons)degree and hold an MA (Merit) in Applied Linguistics and TESOL.

My teaching style is centred totally on you and what you want to achieve and my lessons are relaxed and fun.

If you're at college or university, I can help you with everything from note taking for lectures and seminars, to essay writing and presentations. If your aim is to improve your general English to use in your everyday life, I've got you covered. Perhaps you'd like to improve on one particular skill such as listening or reading, I'm here for you.

At our first meeting, I'll want to find out more about you and see where I can help. Then, we'll work together on a plan of action with achievable objectives.

When you're happy with our plan, we'll start moving towards your success. We'll use pictures, text books, videos, magazines and newspapers, music and the internet...anything that's appropriate to you and where you want to get.

If you prefer to use your own material (maybe an IELTS or TOEFL exam preparation book for example), that's fine too.
I'll always give you positive feedback and lots of encouragement and whether it's face to face or online, I'll make sure your confidence in English grows every time we meet.
