I dumped powerpoint years ago - I use an interactive whiteboard with every session bespoke to the needs of the pupil and recorded - so they (and anyone else) can go back through it as if it was real time..watching and listening to the interaction as I use every day examples from the pupils interests to demonstrate the topic.
Football - great for projectile motion and Youngs modulus. Cooking and baking for gcse biology, chemistry and physics. Interactive models and simulations to puzzle out answers to questions - and diagnostic deep questions to establish concept understanding so high demand 6 mark questions are routine.
