I specialise in maths and science, instead of relying on PowerPoints I use work through methods to see what works for the students and past paper questions to nail exam technique.
Methods like a lot of scenarios, real life examples to embed concepts in the students mind and make it easier to remember for a long time are used by me.
I volunteered as an assistant teacher in year 10 until year 11, mentored A level students for chemistry, biology and psychology during my A levels. Worked as a teaching assistant for SEN students in my gap year and taught medical knowledge as a part of my university’s medical society.
