As a maths tutor, I will guide students through problems by showing the solution process. My tutees will be provided with important problems and worked solutions required to reach their desired grade. This way the student will grasp concepts and discover the correct steps for many types of problems. In addition, in my class, I will cover concepts as well as procedures to allow students to become more confident and independent when tackling exam questions. The lessons I provide will act as a supplement to the mathematics they learn within school class, so students are able to bring concepts they are struggling with in school. I am here to empower students and prepare them for their examinations!

As an engineering student at UCL, I am very mathematically inclined. I was awarded an A* in my Mathematics GCSE and an A at A-Level so I am familiar with the revision techniques required to reach top grades. Previously, I have led outreach programs to encourage girls in primary school to study STEM by planning interactive teaching lessons. This opportunity enabled me to become an effective planner for lessons and to explain complicated concepts by adapting to different students' needs.
