Each lesson is guided by slides, and I create exercises around the topics we cover and the vocabulary that’s most useful to you.
Lesson dynamics
Our first class is mainly about getting to know you: your goals, your motivation, your learning habits and your experience with the language. From there, I plan lessons that fit your needs. At the end of each class, we review what we’ve learned with a quick-fire vocabulary quiz or a short dialogue. I welcome any topics and will support you throughout your learning journey.
My experience
I trained as a Chinese language teacher with the Confucius Institute and have over a year of experience teaching Chinese as a foreign language, including a year in Brazil. I’ve taught students from many different backgrounds and levels, in both English and Portuguese. For HSK, I taught students at levels 3- 6; I would also focus more on grammar and writing for higher levels. I found many of the students at HSK 6 appreciated learning more ??and ??, and they loved the stories behind these expressions.
