Hello! I'm Shuyu, a native Mandarin speaker and a Master's student at the London School of Economics (LSE). I offer patient, supportive, and highly personalised Chinese lessons tailored completely to you.
My teaching philosophy is built on making learning both effective and fun. With a background from a top Chinese university and hands-on experience tutoring students, I understand that everyone learns differently. We won’t just memorise rules; we'll use engaging, real-world materials like articles, music, and video clips to practice practical conversation from our very first session.
My classroom is an interactive and encouraging space where you can build confidence without pressure. Whether you're a complete beginner tackling Pinyin, an intermediate learner mastering grammar, or an advanced student polishing your writing, I will adapt our content to fit your specific needs and pace.
