I believe in empowering my students. I encourage them to approach challenging questions with confidence before stepping in to guide them, almost like a motivational coach. At the start, I like to assess their level by giving them a range of questions across different topics. This helps identify both their strengths and the areas that need building from the ground up. I also make a point of showing them how questions can be varied, an essential skill for exams, so they not only expect but also anticipate new formats they may not have seen before. Ensuring full understanding is my priority, as I know how crucial this is in exam situations. To achieve this, I draw on a mix of textbooks, past papers, and MADAS resources, adapting these tools to strengthen their grasp of each concept.
