My name is Shree, and I’m a friendly and approachable Maths tutor offering lessons from primary school through to Year 10 GCSE, including 11+ preparation.

I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and am currently studying A-Level Mathematics alongside Biology and Chemistry. Having recently completed my own GCSEs, I have a strong understanding of the UK Maths curriculum and the types of questions and skills students are expected to develop. I also understand that everyone learns Maths differently, and that sometimes a topic simply needs to be explained in a different way for it to click.

My lessons are calm, supportive and focused on making sure students genuinely understand what they are doing. I can help with schoolwork, homework, revision, 11+ preparation, catching up on difficult topics and preparing for tests and exams. I will explain methods clearly, work through examples with students and then give them opportunities to practise independently.

I don't want students to simply memorise methods or rely on me for answers. My aim is to help them understand the reasoning behind Maths, become more confident when approaching unfamiliar questions and gradually become more independent learners.

I’m happy to adapt lessons to each student, whether they need extra support with the basics or want to be challenged with more difficult questions. Most importantly, I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that is a normal and important part of learning.
