Shorouk Alaa

Hello, my name is Shorouk Alaa, a passionate language enthusiast and an experienced English tutor with a strong background in media, translation, and communication. Currently in my senior year at the Faculty of Arts, English Department (Language and Translation Section), I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of language not only as a tool for communication but as a bridge between cultures.

Over the past few years, I have worked as a translator and editor in three newspapers and one magazine, experiences that sharpened my attention to detail, broadened my cultural insight, and enhanced my ability to express ideas clearly and effectively. Additionally, I hold the position of Deputy Media Adviser to the High Commission for Human Rights, where I learned the importance of responsibility, precision, and impactful messaging.

As a tutor, I combine my academic knowledge with real-world experience to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. I also have an experience that's more than 4 years in english tutoring. My lessons are tailored to meet each student’s individual needs—whether they’re beginners aiming for fluency or advanced learners refining their academic or professional English. I believe in making learning enjoyable, supportive, and goal-oriented.
