Shivani Manoghar

Hello! I’m Shivani, a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who loves helping children discover that learning can be fun — especially in Maths, English and Art & Design. I hold a Master’s degree (RIBA Part 2) and I am DBS-checked and safeguarding trained. I currently support learners aged 4–16 both online and in-person, helping them build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in school.

My lessons are creative, individualised and interactive. I believe every student learns differently — some through visuals, some through discussion, and some through hands-on activities — so I tailor each session to suit their personality, pace and learning style. I break topics down into simple, manageable steps and provide positive encouragement so students feel proud of their progress.

In Maths, I focus on strengthening core skills (number bonds, times tables, arithmetic, fractions, word problems) while building problem-solving strategies.

In English, I support reading comprehension, spelling, grammar and writing — helping students express themselves clearly and confidently.

In Art & Design, I guide students to explore creativity, drawing skills, composition and imaginative thinking.

I also help with homework, revision techniques, organisation skills and preparing for assessments. My aim is not just to improve grades — but to help children believe they can do it and enjoy the journey.

Most importantly, I create a welcoming and supportive learning space where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and celebrate every achievement.
