Shirley Marian Schöne

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher of English who has been working in the field for 9 years now. I have been working with K-12 levels as well as teenagers and young adults. I make sure I get to know my students and plan my lessons according to their interests.
My students always tell me that my lessons are fun and dynamic; I always include some speaking and listening activities that I generally use as a warm up so as to prepare learners to learn or practice vocabulary items or grammar structures, which are always presented in a meaningful context. Being a teacher is such an exciting job! All students are different and they have different strengths and weaknesses. What I like best about this fascinating profession is that it gives me the opportunity to get to know a wide variety of students and help them achieve their goals and dreams.
