As a 16-year-old who is already in the system of GCSEs and my Mock, I got an 8 - I can provide you (the student) with insights and a perspective an older person couldn't - the way you can remember something from relatable activities. The experience will be a lot more enjoyable and friendly as I can relate to struggles and tackle them how a 15-16-year-old brain would tackle specific questions. I may not have as many credentials as someone much older, but I am more than capable of teaching you!

This is what I will do: I will put a practice question and take the student step-by-step on how to solve it and do the same for a trickier question. Then the student will work on similar questions while able to ask for help on the topic - ideally on what they struggle with. Then by the end of the week, one session will be a test of all the skills we have learned and from there I can see where the student falls short. Closing in on GCSE, I will provide copies of past papers for the student and me to do together.
