I am a Mathematics student with experience tutoring GCSE students in Maths, English and Combined Science. I enjoy helping students build confidence and understand topics they previously found difficult. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their ability, learning style and individual goals.

At the beginning of each lesson, I identify the topics the student needs the most support with. I then explain the key concepts in simple steps, work through examples together and give the student questions to complete independently. This helps me identify any gaps in their understanding and address them before moving on.

For students preparing for GCSE Maths, I use exam-style questions and past papers to develop problem-solving skills and exam technique. I explain how to approach different question types, how to show working clearly and how to avoid common mistakes that lose marks. I also revisit weaker topics regularly so students retain what they have learned.

I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am patient when a student struggles and will explain a concept in different ways until they understand it. I also provide regular feedback on progress and highlight areas students should practise between lessons.

Lessons can focus on GCSE exam preparation, homework, upcoming assessments, specific topics or general improvement. Whether a student wants to improve their grade, strengthen their foundations or become more confident in Maths, I will structure lessons around their individual needs and help them work towards their goals.
