As a Maths tutor for GCSE students, I deliver 1-to-1 tutoring sessions, designing tailored interventions based on student data from within the school. I assess student progress, identify knowledge gaps, and support exam preparation. I maintain detailed records of student interventions and ensure continuous improvement through regular evaluation. Additionally, I am part of the exam invigilation team, overseeing mock and GCSE exams, ensuring students adhere to examination regulations. I work with both high-achieving and lower-ability students, helping them achieve their potential.
As an Hourly Paid Lecturer at a University, I deliver seminar sessions for first-year BEng Civil Engineering students and assist in scale-up sessions for first-year BSc Civil Engineering students. My responsibilities also include marking exam papers and assignments. The subjects I teach range from Maths, Fluid Mechanics, and Fluid Mechanics Lab, to Engineering Skills (IT/Excel), as well as Maths for second-year Civil Engineering students.
