My lessons follow a structured yet engaging format designed to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. I use the deductive method, which means I guide students from specific examples to a clearer understanding of general rules or concepts. This approach ensures that students actively engage with the material before diving into theory.
Each session begins with a warm-up or exploratory activity—such as a short game, group task, real-life scenario, or multimedia input—to spark curiosity and activate prior knowledge. These initial activities are purposefully designed to introduce the topic in a subtle, interactive way, so students start forming ideas and hypotheses even before we formally discuss the lesson.
After the activity, we move into the lesson proper. This is where I clarify key concepts, present grammar rules, vocabulary, or literary themes (depending on the subject), and connect them directly to the earlier activity. Students often realize that they’ve already encountered the concept in action, which makes the content more relatable and easier to grasp.
To reinforce learning, we end the session with fine-tuned activities such as writing exercises, role-plays, peer assessments, or quizzes that help solidify understanding and correct any misconceptions. These tasks are scaffolded to ensure all learners, regardless of level, can participate and succeed.
I have several years of teaching experience, particularly with high school students, and I always prioritize creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. I believe that when students are given the opportunity to discover ideas on their own—with proper guidance—they become more confident, independent thinkers.
Whether we’re tackling complex grammar or analyzing a piece of literature, my goal is to make every lesson purposeful, student-centered, and connected to real-world communication.
