Sheila Gomez

Hello, I’m Sheila — a native English speaker from the United Kingdom.
For over four years, I’ve been teaching conversational English, helping adults speak with clarity, confidence, and ease in real-life situations.

I am TESOL certified through the British English Board and an experienced public speaker with a Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International.

My lessons are interactive and enjoyable. We read stories and articles, listen to short recordings, and then discuss the topics together. I focus on vocabulary, useful expressions, natural pronunciation, and fluency — always correcting mistakes gently so you can improve quickly.

Students describe my classes as fun, motivating, and helpful. They especially enjoy the small progress checks I create to help them see how much they are learning.

Teaching is truly my passion. I love getting to know my students and adapting lessons to match their personal goals and interests. There is nothing better than watching someone become more confident and proud of their English.
