The way i teach varies with student. its dependent on many factors such as the level of study the child im teaching is in, the pace at which a student learn, the type of learner a student is. In most cases student falls in one of 3 categories: verbal visual or kinesthetic. I try to focus my lessons less on feeding information to kids and more on helping them through experiences through hobbies or objects that they associate with. Kids learn with the least resistance through visualising or talking about hobbies or object that they associate with. In my experience, I believe learning through experience is the best way to learn. It has helped me through my GCSE's, my A-Levels and continues to help me as I progress through my degree. I find it highly effective and makes studying which tends to be quite boring, more enjoyable or less tedious at best. The format in which I would be using to teach students would be through Powerpoint and also be helping the student every step of the way. Also including this, I would target the students weak points and providing tips and tricks that make the weak spot easier to tackle so that students can maximise their potential in class tests and examinations. In my experience, results were dependent on students, but its not its dependent on the teacher. As there is a saying: "There is no such thing as a bad student, only a bad teacher" as students follow their teachers guidance when struggling with problems.
