Sharon Oakley

I've had success in teaching all grades PreK through 12th as well as G.E.D. acquisition. Cutting through the non-essential work and focusing on getting the core knowledge while having fun is my modus operandus. Connecting with my students in a kind and respectful manner is how I've empowered and educated students in many areas throughout my teaching career.

My DNA is loaded with teacher genome elements as I come from a long line of teachers. My elders told me that as soon as I could toddle, I would go to children older and younger and begin teaching them even though it was baby babble. I am a natural born teacher and thrive when enlightening individuals of any age.

I've taught all subjects in all grades, (prefer the creative, right-brained, subjects), and run a non-profit educational school on a Federally recognized Indian reservation. My ancestry is indigenous and I've published books to bring knowledge of the ancient ways of the people into the light once again.

I've won best screenplay awards and working on pre-production of an indigenous film. My website for my indigenous work is on the site Black Plume's Cultural Instruction.

I am currently focusing on teaching exclusively on line as I've come to realize that the virtual modality is highly effective in teaching any subject imaginable. This is my fifth year of virtual teaching.
