Shaobin Zheng

I am an experienced DBS-registered tutor with a BA and an MSc degrees, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), as well as HSK, the CEFR C2 Chinese Examination, and Chinese Calligraphy.

Since 2016, I have been teaching Chinese and Chinese Calligraphy to students of different ages and backgrounds, supporting them in learning the language for personal interest, professional development, and examination purposes. My teaching approach is structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual goals and abilities.

Each year, many of my students achieve excellent academic results, including Grade 9 in GCSE Chinese and A* at A-Level. In addition, a number of my students have won first place in Chinese Calligraphy competitions, reflecting both their dedication and the effectiveness of my teaching methods.

I am passionate about sharing the Chinese language and culture, and I am committed to helping students build confidence, achieve their goals, and appreciate the beauty of Chinese characters.
