Shanaz Parvin

I am confident that my four years of experience as a KS1 and KS2 teacher more than prepare me for this new challenge to become a tutor. I believe the ethos of ‘putting pupils first’ and I have been interested in this opportunity. I have experience in teaching various subjects in line with the national curriculum framework.

In the classroom, I am always seeking that fantastic feeling of finally getting through to a pupil who “just couldn’t get it”. I have a proven track record for improving phonics data in SEN and EAL and I am sensitive and reactive when a teaching method requires review. I am a strong advocate of student wellbeing and social development and employ a range of tactics when approaching educational or pastoral issues in my classrooms. I have hugely enjoyed developing myself as a teacher in my current position and would be very keen to continue that development.
