A patient, understanding, like-minded student with a love for maths and understanding it. I will work with students in a way tailored for them to maximise their understanding and problem solving skills. Additionally, I will use materials such as the GCSE specification (if appropriate) exam / practice questions and past papers (if appropriate). Starting with an introduction, I'll break down the various aspects each topic entails. Then, I will model a style of question, allow the student to ask any questions and clear up any confusion before allowing them to attempt a similar example. Feedback and corrections will be given regularly while working through a variety of practice problems. Finally, a summary and recap of the session will be given at the end of each lesson.
