Shakirat Okunubi

I didn't study Mathematics at the University. I grew into loving Mathematics. I wasn't the best student in my Mathematics Class in Grade 7, I scored the lowest. But something changed in Grade 9. A different experience to Mathematics and that's why I am here right now.

A class simplified, broken into bits, no rush, patience, me given opportunities to try again and again, every step explained, gave me the control I needed over the Mathematics questions even the ones I was yet to face.

So how will I teach?

I will experience you. Your relationship with Maths, how you have viewed it, everything that speaks to it. And we will both take baby steps to solve the problems. Try again and again until we have control over it.

The dynamics?

We are going to curate a curriculum that has all that you struggle with. This gives you confidence better as you have mastered what makes you think you are struggling with Mathematics. From there onward, we will swap teaching methods. I know quizzes and assignments are tiring. So I teach you and you teach me in return. That's more fun.
