I believe that learning how to speak English is really down to having someone to converse with on a daily basis and the opportunity to go away and write short stories and articles. We then use the stories you have written to correct grammar and vocabulary and increase your confidence when it comes to speaking.
Although grammar is of course important, my experience is that we must first be able to hold conversations before diving into the ins and outs of grammar. Immersion is the fastest way that people learn a new language and it is evident in the way all children pick up their native tongue.
So by joining an hour lesson a few times a week with me you will immerse yourself in British English, go away with new vocabulary to write and practice and build on what your have learnt and then return to class and simply converse and be corrected if and when there are mistakes in pronunciation or grammar.
My students have spent only three months with me and left feeling much more confident to hold and engage in conversations, are able to watch movies without the awful dubbing and have the foundation to continue their journey with the English language.
