I usually start by getting to know the student via a baseline session, and using this along with recent tests to asses areas that need working on the most. I normally start my sessions with a warm-up activity, followed by an interactive session where we work through tasks before the student is able to answer questions themselves. The session then ends with a fun activity to solidify knowledge, along with a discussion of tasks to complete before the next session. This structure has worked well for students in the past, but can be adjusted. My top priority is delivering engaging sessions for students to provide a suitable learning environment.
