Previously, I've had work experience at a primary school - working with Year 3's was terrifying for me at first but then I realised that they weren't scary, they just needed my time and care. During the week I was there, I helped them with maths - mainly with clocks and reading the time; however, I also managed to guide them with their spelling a little bit ??.
I always knew that I loved children, and working with them made me grow even more love and passion towards helping them, so I decided to give this a try as I've only recently hit 15 and have been wanting a job for awhile.
I like to believe that English is my strongest suit as I am a native speaker, and my predicted grade is currently a 6. I hope to help younger children who may need a little more support as their first language isn't English, through private lessons and small steps, taking each lesson at a time. I will take their thoughts into consideration - for example, if they want an interactive lesson rather than one based on words, I will try my best to arrange that for them ??. As well as this, I'm aware that everyone has different plans for the future and will use English in various ways, such as for travelling or for striking a job. I will also take these into consideration, and prepare them as muxh as I can within their own pace.
