My lessons are interactive and personalised to each student. In the first few sessions I like to chat to the student and find out the best way they learn. Through this, I develop and share resources I have found/made. In my opinion, it is crucial that exam technique is practised as well as learning and understanding the content, by using past exam questions as example questions I can help the student develop their confidence when it comes to strategically answering in addition to coping under pressure. Another believe I have is that independent learning is also important, I like to set the students tasks to complete in their own time in order to maximise the lessons time. This also gives the opportunity for self reflection and students can see what they don't understand which they can then ask questions about. I received A's & A*'s in all of my GCSE & A level subjects and I am currently a second year medical student. I am also bilingual and can speak Welsh fluently which offers another perspective. This means I can also help with Welsh exam papers and questions. With my experience and past exam notes & knowledge I feel confident in my ability to help students achieve their full potential.
