Every lesson is complete with illustrative examples to reinforce learning. Some students find that story telling makes lessons memorable and this is often available as a strategy depending on the student. There is also the opportunity to engage in tasks so that students can practice what they have learnt and apply their knowledge to real situations.

I place particular emphasis on language analysis and train students to think critically about what they perceive.

The study of English, and language in general, includes an understanding of culture, social interaction, influencing, informing, entertaining, and much more. It is as much about effective written communication as well as spoken communication. As such, it has the power to equip the student to become a positive force for god in the world.

Developing an exceptionally good command of language opens up a world of opportunities to multiple careers such as journalism, law, politics, marketing, business, counselling/therapy, advising, etc.

In my own personal life, I have used the power of effective communication to create meaningful content that can educate and inspire. I have written ebooks in the niche of self-empowerment to target people who want to take ownership of their lives and make their unique contribution to improving societies.

As social creatures, human beings thrive on effective communication and learning how to communicate well is an, often underestimated power.

Whilst working with students for the last 7 years, teaching techniques for English exam success, I started to find that I had less and less original writing material to work with. This led me to start writing myself and create my very own stories that could be read and enjoyed for entertainment, but they could also be analysed as a way to encourage critical thinking.
