I ensure i establish and more importantly maintain a healthy professional and trusting relationship with all pupils to aid
learning. This way pupils are able to trust me to impact knowledge through teaching. I also ensure to evaluate pupils’ progress and revisit topics that may seem a bit difficult by maintaining appropriate records and preparing progress reports.
Learning requires confidence and self belief that you can overcome the challenge of a difficult maths question, the resolution has to come from within, i make sure to help pupils' find that courage and self belief, even if it requires supporting pupils with social issues such as bullying.
I also maintain an accurate working knowledge of the key stage 2 curriculum to teach various subjects, including mental maths, numeracy, and General Science.
