Your first lesson will be a run down of everything we will go over during your time with me. This includes question types, techniques, analysis techniques, word techniques and anything you struggle with that we need to go over. This will also include question format and looking at an actual exam paper for guidance so that you’re aware of what you will answer for your real exam. This lesson is all about you so don’t hesitate to ask questions when you need help! After your first lesson, I will begin to teach basics/ anything you don’t but need to know for your exam. From here we will begin to look at sentence types and what makes an effective sentence. This will help you spot any when analysing texts at GCSE. Analysis is a key skill that you must know but don’t worry because we will look at analysis fully so that you understand what needs analysing and how to do this. After we have covered the key points of analysis you will then have a go at a few GCSE questions from an actual paper! This will get you in the swing of answering questions and will make it easier for you to spot anything that is important! Our final question for our paper 1 is a persuasive speech which we will cover in the lesson too so that you have all the persuasive techniques for your final question. Remember, these lessons are tailored specifically to you so anything you would like to learn or go over we can do easily. We will learn as much as possible so you come out with the best grade!
