My lessons are tailored to each individual student, ranging from composition and theory to performance practice. Drawing on my experience as a performer as well as teaching in schools, I am able to offer tutoring that reflects the current teachings of the industry, wholly preparing you to take your next steps on that journey. Having developed my own music curricula, I am well-prepared to deliver tutoring that meets each students needs, ensuring each session builds on the previous work and development.
For lessons, I make use of tailored PowerPoint presentations and resource sheets. Sessions can be delivered on-line or in-person in Leeds.
Beyond theory and composition, I am an experienced piano and vocal coach with a 100% pass rate for examinations. I have prepared students for drama school and conservatoire auditions, with the majority reaching their first choice university.
I like to think my tutoring sessions are delivered in a friendly, fun, and engaging manner whilst supporting my students to continue to expand their knowledge and ability.
