My lessons are designed to suit your needs and wants!

I have been a teacher for over 15 years and been both a classroom teacher and head of department.

I teach at N4/5/Higher and Advanced Higher. I have received the most successful results of any faculty in my school. I regularly help pupils achieve their highest graded award.

I have also marked at both National 5 and Higher level for 5 years so I know exactly what markers are looking for and so what brings success. My lessons are designed specifically to allow pupils to achieve their absolute optimum.

I start by finding out exactly where you are in your journey, talking through your progress and where you feel you may have gaps in your knowledge. We talk through your aims and where you want to get to and then we set a plan on how we will get you there.

My lessons will focus on improvements that can be specifically made to enhance your ability to achieve the highest possible award. I will give you easy-to-use strategies to enhance your answers, we will practice these strategies in different contexts and refine them.

I will give you regular, informed and easy to understand feedback. We can monitor your progress on a regular basis.

I am willing to give lessons on an individual or block basis and I can work it around your schedule. I am happy to give the lesson online or attend in person, whatever suits you!
