Scott Harrison

I am qualified, vastly experienced English teacher currently living and teaching in Brazil. I am a UK native and graduated in 1999 from Liverpool University with a degree in educatgion / teaching - BEd (with QTS). Since graduating I have taught primary aged children in the UK and Spain and young adults and adults in Brazil. I currently teach English literature and English as a Foreign Langugae online and in schools. I also teach English Literature, history and public speaking on an US High Diploma course here in Brazil. I have expreience in preparing students for a range of exams including: Key Stage 2 SATS, IETLS, English GCSE and IGCSE, Cambridge English Profeciency Exams and US High School diploma.

My online classes use of range of stimulus with a focus on the particular aims and relevance of my students'. Classes are student focused and dynamic. There is an emphasis on interaction and conversation with ongoing feedback and formal and informal assessment. Such an approach has been succesful in ensuring that students progress significantly enough to pass exams which allow them to apply to study, live and work abroad, apply for visas etc...
